Dental Implants
T3 Implant / Biomet 3i
Contemporary Hybrid Surface
Coarse and Fine Micron Surface Features Create an Average Mean Surface Roughness Value of 1.4 μm in the Threaded Portion of the Dental Implant.
· Coarse and fine micron features
· Fine micron features on the dental implant collar
· Option for nano-scale features along the full length of the dental implant
Integrated Platform Switching
Integrated platform switching medializes the implant/abutment junction (IAJ) inward, creating a biologic width between connective tissue and the IAJ, helping to maintain bone levels.
· Reduced crestal bone loss
· Reduction in crestal bone remodeling vs. non platform-switched dental implants.
Seal Integrity
A stable, tight implant/abutment interface minimizes abutment micromotion and reduces potential microleakage.
· Seal integrity test was performed by Biomet 3i July 2011 - June 2012. In order to test the dental implant systems, a dynamic - loading leakage test was developed and executed. The test set-up was adapted from ISO14801, Dentistry - Implants - Dynamic Fatigue Test for Endosseous Dental Implants.

Features & Benefits: • Increased Safety: Sterile with an SAL 10-6. • Convenient Storage: Ambient temperature with three-year shelf life. • Versatility: Cortical and cancellous have unique properties. • Graft Incorporation: Osteoconductive potential with a combination of open trabecular architecture and dense particles allows for healing through “creeping substitut.

Oragraft® MD 70/30
Clinical Overview: LifeNet OraGraft MD 70/30 is a particulate bone graft combining 70% mineralized ground cortical with 30% demineralized ground cortical. The combination leverages the benefits of space maintenance with ground cortical with the osteoinductive potential of demineralized ground cortical. This combination has been shown in studies to provide a favorable environment for the regeneration of vital bone.
Features & Benefits • Convenient: 70/30 mix reduces time to blend grafts chair-side and minimizes the need to carry multiple graft types in inventory. • Sterile: Sterilized using patented and proprietary Allowash XG® technology, which provides a sterility assurance level (SAL) of 10-6, without compromising the graft’s inherent osteoconductive properties. • Packaging: Double-barrier sterile packaged for aseptic delivery to the sterile field. • Osteoconductive: Natural bone matrix facilitates cell attachment and proliferation as well as vascular in-growth. • Osteoinductive Potential: Demineralized using proprietary PAD® technology that targets optimal residual calcium levels of 1-4% without compromising the graft’s inherent osteoconductive properties or osteoinductive potential.

Bone Structure
OraGraft® Cortical Plate
The shell technique involves using a thin plate of cortical bone, secured to host bone with at least two osteosynthesis screws, to create a biologic container that maintains the necessary space for bone graft particulates. The cortical plate functions as a stable, slowly resorbed material that can be used as a
substitute for autologous bone recovered from the mandibular shelf, eliminating the need for a second surgical site.
• Convenience: Ready to use out of the package, no need for rehydration. The graft is preserved using LifeNet Health’s proprietary Preservon® technology to maintain it in a hydrated state. Preservon-treated grafts have been shown to have strength similar to that of frozen grafts and greater than freeze-dried grafts.1
• Safety: Sterilized using patented and proprietary Allowash XG® technology, which provides a Sterility Assurance Level (SAL) of 10-6 without compromising the graft’s inherent osteoconductive properties.2 No need for a second surgical site.
• Osteoconductive: Natural bone matrix facilitates cell attachment and proliferation

Oracell (Human Skin)
Oracell® is an acellular dermal matrix intended to be used in conjunction with guided tissue and bone regeneration, and oral soft tissue correction. MATRACELL™, a patented and validated technology by LifeNet Health, renders Oracell allograft dermis acellular without
compromising biomechanical or biological properties.
This decellularized matrix retains the native constituents needed for successful use.

Surgical instruments
Stoma® micro-screw kit
The stoma® micro-screw is used in various augmentation techniques, such as lateral and horizontal bone augmentation, as well as 3D bone augmentation via tunnel technique. It is ideal for those who work in the area of bone management and want to further specialize in it.
The stoma® micro-screw proves to be particularly beneficial for small and thin cortical bone graft transplants, called bone graft transplants or shells. In addition, the stoma® micro-screw shows its efficiency in very narrow spaces, e.g. single tooth defects, where space restraints make the use of traditional bone fixation screws impossible.

Other instruments
Guided by "passion for perfection" Stoma is a German manufacturer of dental instruments of the highest quality since more than 100 years specializing in perio, surgical and implantology instruments among others.

Surgical Sutures
PGA suture
Coated PGA suture is a synthetic absorbable sterile surgical suture composed of polyglycolic acid, coated with a mixture composed of polycaprolactone and calcium stearate of vegetable origin. The copolymers used in this product have been found to be nonantigenic, nonpyrogenic and elicit only a mild tissue reaction during absorption. The sutures are available dyed and undyed (natural). Coated PGA suture elicits a minimal acute inflammatory reaction in tissue and ingrowth of fibrous connective tissue. Progressive loss of tensile strength and eventual absorption of coated PGA suture occurs by means of hydrolysis. Absorption begins as a loss of tensile strength followed by a loss of mass. PGA suture retains at least 65% of its initial strength after two weeks in-vivo. PGA has been found to be non-antigenic, non-pyrogenic and elicit only mild tissue reactivity during the absorption process. The absorption time for PGA suture is 60 to 90 days.
PGLA sutures
Golnit PGLA Suture is a synthetic absorbable sterile surgical suture composed of a copolymer made from 90% glycolide and 10% L-lactide. It is coated with calcium stearate and 30:70 poly(glycolide-co-L-lactide). The copolymers used in this product have been found to be nonantigenic, nonpyrogenic and elicit only a mild tissue reaction during absorption. The sutures are available dyed and undyed (natural). Coated PGLA suture elicits a minimal acute inflammatory reaction in tissue and ingrowth of fibrous connective tissue. Progressive loss of tensile strength and eventual absorption of coated PGLA suture occurs by means of hydrolysis, where the copolymer degrades to glycolic and lactic acids which are subsequently absorbed and metabolized in the body. Absorption begins as a loss of tensile strength followed by a loss of mass. The retention strength of PGLA suture is about 60% of the initial strength after 14 days in-vivo. Absorption of PGLA is essentially complete by 90 days.
CHROMIC CATGUT
Chromic Catgut suture is an absorbable, sterile surgical suture composed of purified connective tissue (mostly collagen) derived from the serosal layer of beef (bovine).
Catgut sutures (both Plain and Chromic) are indicated for use in general soft tissue approximation and/or ligation, including use in ophthalmic procedures, but not for use in cardiovascular and neurological tissues. Just like any other absorbable suture, they should not be used where extended approximation of tissue is required.
When surgical gut suture is placed in tissue, a moderate tissue inflammation occurs, which is characteristic of foreign body response to a substance. This is followed by loss of tensile strength and a loss of suture mass as the suture gradually dissolves. This process continues until the suture is completely absorbed.
NYLON MONOFILAMENT sutures
Golnit NYLON MONOFILAMENT Suture is a non-absorbable, nonabsorbable, monofilament, sterile surgical suture composed of the long-chain aliphatic polymers Nylon 6 and Nylon 6,6. Nylon Monofilament sutures are dyed black to enhance visibility in tissue. The suture is also available undyed (clear).
POLYPROPYLENE sutures
Golnit Polypropylene Suture is a nonabsorbable, monofilament, sterile surgical suture composed of an isotactic crystalline stereoisomer of polypropylene, a synthetic linear polyolefin. The suture is pigmented blue to enhance visibility.
PTFE
Golnit PTFE surgical sutures are an excellent choice for any periodontal, bone graft or implant surgery.
Thanks to being completely non-absorbable and biologically inert, these sutures cause minimal inflammatory response in the moist environment of the oral cavity.
Golnit PTFE surgical sutures are supplied sterile in various lengths and diameters and attached to a needle.
SILK sutures
Golnit SILK Suture is a nonabsorbable, braided, sterile, surgical suture composed of an organic protein called fibroin. This protein is derived from the domesticated species Bombyx mori (B. mori) of the family Bombycidae. Silk sutures are processed to remove the natural waxes and gums. Silk suture is dyed black and coated with silicone. Silk suture is also available in its natural color coated with silicone.
